     Superman was one of the first ones on the scene hen the search for Bruce Wayne started. Kidnappers made contact with Wayne’s family and demanded that a ransom be paid in order for him to be returned. It wasn’t the first time Wayne has been taken, but it is the first time a hero has assisted the police in locating him.      It proved to be helpful because with Superman’s help they were able to locate Wayne within the hour.      It’s unclear how Superman located Wayne, but he led the police to the warehouse where Wayne was being kept. The kidnappers did resist but the fight was short-lived. Superman led the charge and barreled into the warehouse. The police provided necessary back up.      Arrests were made and Wayne was unharmed by the time help arrived. The investigation as to why he was taken is still underway. It’s believed that the kidnappers were after more than just money.      The more interesting detail of the story is how Wayne reacted to the rescue. Even through Wayne has never been a fan of Big Blue, he insisted on properly thanking the hero. His reasoning being that Superman went above and beyond for him.      “He even escorted me to the hospital,” Bruce told reporters, “I may have misjudged him in the past.      ”Wayne made sure to have a face to face with Superman to “thank him properly.” This included a kiss on the lips. There as no protest from Superman Iff anything he seemed to reciprocate Wayne’s affection.      Needless to say, Gotham is shocked by the playboys newest shenanigans.
